Meditating is key to all kinds of benefits. You’ve probably heard that before. You have heard that meditation can improve your quality of life, reduce stress, and give you mental clarity.
But you may still be unclear about why this practice can be especially powerful when combined with specific personal growth methods, such as The Master Key System, developed by Charles F. Haanel over 100 years ago.
To be honest, meditation was a waste of time for me, and I didn’t need it. (I thought I didn’t need it).
Now that I’ve practiced the teachings of The Master Key System, I know that when I don’t have time to complete my daily tasks or am stressed by a specific situation, it’s because I haven’t meditated enough. I remember meditating is key and go back to it, adding meditation time.
As a guide for the Master Key Experience course, one of the things I most recommend to members of my tribe is to “meditate.”
Meditate… is always my answer when people ask me how to identify what they want from life, how to know what their PPNs (personal pivotal needs) are. Meditating IS key to so many other questions we encounter in the process of personal transformation.

5 Reasons to Use the Master Key System Meditation Method
1. Connect with Universal Intelligence
According to Charles Haanel, there is a source of infinite power, which he called “Universal Intelligence.” By meditating, we disconnect from our daily mental noise and tune into this higher intelligence.
2. Increase Your Concentration
We live in a world full of distractions. Meditation teaches you to consciously focus your attention on one thing at a time. This increased concentration allows you to act more efficiently and with less stress toward achieving your goals.
3. Reduce Stress and Anxiety
Chronic stress blocks your creativity, drains your energy, and negatively affects your physical and emotional health. Meditation is a scientifically validated practice that reduces cortisol (stress hormone) levels, providing well-being and emotional balance.
4. Reprogram your subconscious
Meditation creates a receptive state of mind, ideal for reprogramming your subconscious. According to Haanel, your external results reflect your internal beliefs. Regular meditation allows you to identify and transform limiting beliefs into empowering ideas.
5. Promotes clear and precise decision-making
When we are stressed or overwhelmed, making decisions becomes difficult and confusing. Meditation gives you clarity and mental serenity to make effective decisions aligned with your true purpose.
How to apply meditation in your daily life, according to Haanel
- Establish a daily routine: Set aside at least 15 minutes each day, preferably in the morning or before bed.
- Create a suitable space: Use a quiet place, free from interruptions, with dim lighting and silence.
- Apply specific exercises from The Master Key System: such as clear visualizations, positive affirmations, and mindfulness of your breathing.
- Be consistent: Meditation, like any habit, requires repetition and commitment. The benefits are greatly enhanced with consistency.
Meditating is Key to Success
Meditation is not just a passing fad, but a proven practice that empowers all areas of your life.
Integrating meditation following the principles of The Master Key System is particularly effective because it allows you to work from the root: your subconscious mind, your focused attention, and your spiritual connection.
For me, meditation is key. It’s an important part of my daily routine as a resource and tool, since I know that If I change from within, I inevitably change what I receive from without.
I can’t tell you what to do. Meditation worked for me and I am sure it can work for you too if you do the work. Will you?

Day, thank you for being here my friend
Laura, your words gave me chills! It’s not about needing more action… it’s about needing more stillness
Stephanie, your Yellow heart shines through this comment! I love how you described it—‘blossoming calm and self-control’ is exactly what happens when we stop fighting the stillness
Karen, I’m so glad you found the tips helpful!
Janet, your words mean so much to me! It’s humbling to guide others when I still have to remind myself to practice what I preach sometimes. But that’s the beauty of the Master Key System—it’s not about perfection, just diligent progress. Thank you for trusting the process and being part of this journey.
Candy, I totally get it! Even though we know how powerful meditation is, it’s often the first thing we drop when life gets busy.
“You’re so welcome, Shirley! It’s funny how we resist the very thing that would save us time, isn’t it?
I agree, Janet. Let’s do what’s proven to work! 🙂
You have to know you are NOT alone, Candy. I love how you point to its being important for mental health.
Thanks for your reflections, Maria. So many of us think we just don’t have time. I chuckled at your firm “I know that when I don’t have time to complete my daily tasks or am stressed by a specific situation, it’s because I haven’t meditated enough. I remember meditating is key and go back to it, adding meditation time.” If only EVERYONE knew that! Add, not 0.
This is one thing I often let slip Maria…and cannot understand why. It is so so soooooo catastrophically important to our mental health
When a highly successful person tells you meditation with a structure is crucial, you should follow their advice and be diligent in its practice.
Thank you Maria for your masterful guidance.
These are great tips. Thank you
Oh Maria, this blog truly sings to my Yellow heart! 💛 I so relate — I used to squirm through formal sits, feeling like I had ants in my pants! But you’re right: the more I stick with it, the more calm and self-control I discover blossoming inside. It’s magical how meditation gently rewires our inner world, isn’t it? Thank you for sharing this beautiful reminder. I’m inspired to stay consistent — and to smile while I do! 🌟
Maria, I felt this so deeply. Meditation used to feel like a checkbox or, even worse, an indulgence I couldn’t afford time for. But learning to sit still with intention through the Master Key Experience changed everything for me too.
Now, when life gets chaotic or heavy (which it often does), I realize it’s not about needing more action… it’s about needing more stillness. That’s where the real guidance drops in.
You said it perfectly: meditation is the key. It’s how I realign, reconnect, and remember who I truly am. Thank you for articulating this so beautifully. 💛 #InfiniteCreator #MeditationIsKey #MasterKeyExperience
What excellent points on the benefits, and the correct steps, for meditation to move our lives forward. Thank you for sharing this, Maria.
